Spiral cooling tower is a kind of equipment used in industrial and building cooling systems, mainly used for heat dissipation and cooling. It uses the heat exchange process between air and water to reduce the water temperature through evaporative cooling and airflow cooling.

1. Working principle of spiral cooling tower

The spiral cooling tower increases the contact area between air and water through a uniquely designed spiral structure. Its working process is roughly as follows:

• Water flow: The hot water at the top of the cooling tower is evenly sprayed through the nozzle to form water mist, which gradually descends through the spiral water flow path.

• Airflow: The air flow is usually guided by a fan in the spiral tower. These air flows are intertwined with the water flow and take away heat through evaporation.

• Evaporative cooling: When the water evaporates, the temperature of the water decreases, and the remaining cooling water is recovered and recycled again until the desired cooling effect is achieved.
